Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner duct assembly. Refer to Intake Air Ducts .
  2. Disconnect the throttle cable support linkage. Refer to Section 6.
  3. Disconnect the cruise control cable assembly if the vehicle is equipped with cruise control.
  4. Disconnect the power brake booster vacuum hose from the engine.

    5. Object Number: 32480 Size: SH
  5. Remove the crankcase vent valve (PCV) and pipe assembly.

    6. Object Number: 3782 Size: SH
  6. Remove the valve rocker arm cover. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Removal .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1146 Size: SH
  1. Install the valve rocker arm cover. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Installation .

    2. Object Number: 32480 Size: SH
  2. Install the crankcase vent valve (PCV) and pipe assembly.
  3. Install the power brake booster vacuum hose.
  4. Connect the throttle cable support linkage. Refer to Accelerator Controls .
  5. Connect the cruise control cable assembly if the vehicle is equipped with cruise control.
  6. Install the air cleaner duct assembly. Refer to Intake Air Ducts .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
