Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 1996 🢒 Blazer - 2WD 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transmission - 4L60-E 🢒 Control Valve Body and Wiring Harness Removal

  1. Remove all electrical connectors from the electrical components.

    2. Object Number: 5444 Size: SH
  2. Remove the TCC PWM retainer clip.
  3. Remove the TCC PWM solenoid.

    4. Object Number: 5445 Size: SH
  4. Remove the TCC solenoid bolts; and remove the valve body bolts that hold the wiring harness down.

    5. Object Number: 5446 Size: SH
  5. Remove the TCC solenoid and wiring harness. Turn the wiring harness over so that it hangs over the side of the transmission.

  6. Remove the pressure switch assembly bolts.
  7. Remove the pressure switch assembly.

  8. Remove all valve body bolts.
  9. Remove the fluid level indicator stop bracket.

  10. Lift the valve body carefully so that the checkballs remain on the spacer plate in the correct location. While lifting the valve body, disconnect the manual valve link from the manual valve.

  11. Remove the seven valve body checkballs.

    12. Object Number: 5451 Size: SH
  12. Remove the accumulator cover bolts.
  13. Remove the 1-2 accumulator cover and pin assembly.
  14. Disassemble the 1-2 accumulator assembly.

    15. Object Number: 5452 Size: SH
  15. Remove the spacer plate support bolts.
  16. Remove the spacer plate support.

    17. Object Number: 5453 Size: SH
  17. Remove the spacer plate, the valve body gasket, valve body spacer plate and the case gasket.

    18. Object Number: 5454 Size: SH
  18. Remove the 3-4 accumulator spring and the 3-4 accumulator piston.

    19. Object Number: 5455 Size: SH
  19. Remove the case checkball.
