  5. Object Number: 341277 Size: SH
  6. Install the AIR pipe and a NEW gasket to the exhaust manifold.
  7. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the AIR pipe nuts.
  9. Tighten
Tighten the AIR pipe nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  10. Raise the vehicle.
  11. Connect the exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold.
  12. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement in Engine Exhaust.

  13. Lower the vehicle.
  14. Install the bolt for the oil level indicator tube.
  15. Tighten
Tighten the oil level indicator tube bolt to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
