Inspect the flexible hydraulic brake hoses at least twice a year. The hydraulic brake hoses transmit hydraulic pressure to the calipers from the steel brake pipes on the body.
| • | Inspect the brake hoses for the following conditions: |
| - | Road hazard damage |
| - | Cracks |
| - | Chafing of the outer cover |
| - | Leaks |
| - | Blisters |
| - | Proper routing and mounting |
| - | Adequate inspection may require a light and a mirror. |
| • | If you observe any faulty conditions on a brake hose, replace the brake hose. |
