  5. Raise the transmission into place and remove J  21366.
  6. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.

  7. Slide the transmission straight onto the locating pins while lining up the marks on the flywheel and the torque converter.
  8. Install the bolts securing the transmission to the engine.
  9. Tighten
Tighten transmission to engine bolts to 47 N·m (35 lb ft).

    Object Number: 9098 Size: SH
  10. Install the nut and washer securing the transmission mount to the cross member.
  11. Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 52 N·m (38 lb ft).

  12. Install the torque converter bolts. Refer to Flywheel to Torque Converter Bolt Replacement
  13. Connect the wiring harness connectors to the transmission speed sensor and park neutral position switch.

  24. Lower the vehicle.
  25. Test the transmission for proper operation.
  26. Important: It is recommended that the transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) information be reset.

Resetting the TAP values using a scan tool will erase all learned values in all cells. As a result, the ECM, PCM or TCM will need to relearn the TAP values. Transmission performance may be affected as new TAP values are learned,

  27. Reset the TAP values. Refer to Adapt Function .
