For 1990-2009 cars only
    • There are two tie rod assemblies.
        Each tie rod assembly consists of the following components:
       - Sleeve
       - Two clamps
       - Two tie rod ends
    • The two tie rod ends are threaded into the sleeve and secured with the clamps.
    • The right and left hand threads are used for the following components:
       - Toe-in adjustments
       - Steering gear centering
    • Before any service is performed, note the following items:
       - Position of the tie rod adjuster tube
       - Direction from which the bolts are installed
    • The tie rod adjuster components may be rusted.
        If the torque required to remove the nut from the bolt exceeds 9 N·m (62 lb in), perform the following steps:
       - Replace the nuts.
       - Rotate the clamps until they move freely.
    • Install all parts, with the correct part number, in the proper position.
    • All of the procedures for the following items apply to the left and the right sides:
       - Alignment
       - Adjustment
       - Assembly
