Verify that the left turn signal indicator is inoperative.

Does the left turn signal indicator operate normally?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN position with the engine OFF.
  2. Turn the left turn signal ON.

Does the LF Turn Signal function properly?

Go to Turn Signal Lamp Inoperative - Left Side Front

  1. Disconnect the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Connect a test lamp from the connector terminal B1 to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate or flash?

  1. Inspect the instrument cluster printed circuit and the left turn signal indicator filament.
  2. Repair as needed. Refer to Instrument Cluster Bulb Replacement or Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Locate and repair the open in CKT 1414 (LT BLU/WHT). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Locate and repair CKT 1050 (BLK) for an open to ground. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
