Front Fog Lamp Replacement Bravada

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 392911  Size: SH
  1. Ensure that the fog lamp switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  3. Remove the screws that retain the fog lamp assembly to the bumper.
  4. Remove the fog lamp assembly from the bumper.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 392911  Size: SH
  1. Install the fog lamp assembly to the bumper.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screws that secure the fog lamp assembly to the bumper.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector.
  6. Re-aim the fog lights. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .

Front Fog Lamp Replacement Envoy

Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure that the foglamp switch is OFF.
  2. Ensure that the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.

  3. Object Number: 365524  Size: SH
  4. Rotate the bulb socket 1/4 turn counter-clockwise in order to remove the socket from the foglamp assembly.
  5. Remove the bulb from the socket.
  6. Remove the push-pin style retainers that retain the foglamp to the front fascia.
  7. Remove the adjustment thumbwheel from the foglamp.
  8. From the front of the vehicle, remove the foglamp from the fascia.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 365524  Size: SH
  1. From the front of the vehicle, install the foglamp to the fascia.
  2. Install the adjustment thumbwheel to the foglamp.
  3. Install the push-pin style retainers that retain the foglamp to the front fascia.
  4. Install the foglamp bulb to the socket.
  5. Rotate the bulb socket 1/4 turn clockwise in order to install the socket to the license plate lamp assembly.
  6. Re-aim the fog lights. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .

Front Fog Lamp Replacement Xtreme

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 524814  Size: SH
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Ensure that the foglamp switch is in the OFF position.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the push pins.
  5. Remove the adjustment screw.
  6. Remove the foglamp from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the foglamp to the vehicle.
  2. Install the adjustment screws.
  3. Install the push pins.
  4. Connect the electrical connector.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Re-aim the fog lights. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .

Front Fog Lamp Replacement Diamond Edition

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 643461  Size: SH
  1. Turn the ignition key to the off position.
  2. Remove the skid plate from the grille guard assembly.
  3. Remove the radiator grille guard assembly. Refer to Radiator Grille Guard Replacement in Body Front End.
  4. Disconnect the electrical harnesses from the fog lamp assemblies.

  5. Object Number: 643462  Size: SH
  6. Remove two bolts securing the fog lamp assembly to the grille guard.
  7. Remove the fog lamp assembly.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 643462  Size: SH
  1. Install the fog lamp assembly to the grille guard with two bolts.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the fog lamp bolts to 9 N·m(7 lb ft).

  3. Connect the electrical harnesses to the fog lamp assemblies.
  4. Install the radiator grille guard assembly. Refer to Radiator Grille Guard Replacement in Body Front End.

  6. Install the skid plate to the grille guard assembly.

  7. Object Number: 643463  Size: SH
  8. Aim the fog lamps. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming
