Action

The front wheels are out of alignment.

Inspect and adjust the front wheel alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement Measuring Wheel Alignment in Wheel Alignment.

The rack preload is misadjusted.

Adjust the rack preload to specification.

The spring is broken or sagging.

Replace the broken or sagging springs as needed. Refer to Front Coil Springs Replacement in Front Suspension.

The stabilizer shaft is loose.

Inspect and replace the stabilizer shaft insulators/clamps and links as necessary. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Replacement in Front Suspension.

The shocks are worn.

Replace the shocks as needed. Refer to Shock Absorber Replacement in Front Suspension.

The tires are worn uneven.

  1. Inspect and perform the alignment as necessary. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement in Wheel Alignment.
  2. Replace the tires as needed. Refer to Tire Mounting and Dismounting in Tires and Wheels.
