Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2003 🢒 Blazer - 4WD - RHD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Cooling 🢒 Heater Outlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.

    2. Object Number: 529 Size: SH
  2. Remove heater outlet hose clamps at the heater core.
  3. Remove outlet hoses from the heater core.
  4. Remove heater outlet hose clamp from the water pump.
  5. Remove the heater outlet hose from the water pump.

    6. Object Number: 531115 Size: SH
  6. Remove the heater outlet hose from the retaining clip from engine water outlet.

    7. Object Number: 531473 Size: SH
  7. Open the heater outlet hose retaining clip above the right side valve cover. Use a flat bladed tool to open the clip from the bottom.
  8. Remove the heater outlet hoses from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Apply lubricant (GM P/N 9985662) to each end of the heater outlet hose.

    2. Important: When installing new heater outlet hoses, place the clamps on the hose before installing the hose to the vehicle.

  2. Install the heater outlet hoses to the vehicle.

    3. Object Number: 531051 Size: SH
  3. Install the heater outlet hose to the water pump.
  4. Install the heater outlet hose clamp to the water pump.
  5. Install the heater outlet hose to the heater core.
  6. Install the heater outlet hose clamps at the heater core.

    7. Object Number: 531115 Size: SH
  7. Install the heater outlet hose to the retaining clip at the engine water outlet.

    8. Object Number: 531473 Size: SH
  8. Place the heater outlet hoses in the retaining clip above the right side valve cover.
  9. Close the retaining clip. Ensure that the clip locks.
  10. Fill the engine cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
