Removal Procedure

Important: This procedure calls for the replacement of incandescent bulbs only. The light emitting diodes (LEDs) are not replaceable individually. If LED replacement is needed, replace the entire instrument panel cluster (IPC). Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel (IP) cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

  3. Object Number: 367197  Size: SH
  4. Unclip the IP cluster rear cover plate by prying gently on the tabs with a screwdriver.

  5. Object Number: 348651  Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear cover plate from the IP cluster.

  7. Object Number: 368778  Size: SH
  8. Remove the bulb and base assembly by turning the bulb 1/2 turn counter clockwise and pulling outward.

Installation Procedure

Important: This procedure calls for the replacement of incandescent bulbs only. The light emitting diodes (LEDs) are not replaceable individually.     Object Number: 397712  Size: SH
  1. Install the bulb(s) into the cluster by inserting the bulb and base assembly and turning the bulb 1/2 turn clockwise.

  2. Object Number: 348651  Size: SH
  3. Carefully snap the rear cover plate to the IP cluster.
  4. Install the IP cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
