Removal Procedure
- Remove the front bumper impact bar. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement in Bumpers.
- Disconnect the filler neck hose from the solvent container.
- Remove two bolts securing the washer solvent container to the front bumper.
- Disconnect the headlamp washer hose from the solvent container.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the headlamp washer hose to the solvent container.
- Install the solvent container to the front bumper with two bolts and the nuts.
- Install the front bumper impact bar. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement in Bumpers.
- Connect the filler neck hose to the solvent container.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the solvent container bolts and the nuts to 12.5 N·m
(9 lb ft).
