Removal Procedure
- Remove the nozzle cover from the front bumper.
- Remove the front bumper impact bar. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement in Bumpers.
- Remove the strap securing the headlamp washer hose to the front bumper
- Remove the two bolts securing the each washer nozzle to the front bumper.
- Disconnect the headlamp washer hose from the solvent container.
- Remove the nozzle assembly.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the headlamp washer hose to the solvent container.
- Install the nozzle assembly to the front bumper with two bolts.
- Install the washer hose to the front bumper with a strap.
- Install the front bumper impact bar. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement in Bumpers.
- Install the nozzle covers in the front bumper.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the washer nozzle bolts to 12 N·m (9 lb ft).
