Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the body side trim panels, as necessary. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the jack from the vehicle.
  4. Remove the endgate or the liftgate door sill trim plate. Refer to Refer to Rear Floor Rear Trim Plate Replacement .

  5. Object Number: 303510  Size: SH
  6. Remove the bolts that retain the cargo tie down hooks to the floor.
  7. Remove the cargo tie down hooks.

  9. Remove the rear carpet or the mat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 303506  Size: SH

    Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

  1. Install the rear carpet or the mat to the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 303510  Size: SH
  3. Install the cargo tie down hooks.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the bolts that retain the cargo tie down hooks to the floor.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  7. Install the endgate or the liftgate door sill trim plate. Refer to Rear Floor Rear Trim Plate Replacement .
  8. Install the jack to the vehicle.
  9. Install the body side trim panels, as necessary. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  10. Install the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
