DOORGLASS DOWN STOP BUMPERS

SOME 1982 CAMARO OR FIREBIRD DOORS HAVE DOWN STOP BUMPERS WHICH MAY BECOME DISENGAGED FROM THE DOOR GLASS SASH CHANNEL CAUSING THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1.DOOR GLASS IS TOO LOW - CONTACTING THE LOWER EDGE OF THE OUTER BELT SEALING STRIP. 2.SASH CHANNEL ROLLER BECOMING DISENGAGED FROM THE REAR GUIDE CAM CHANNEL. SHOULD EITHER OF THESE CONDITIONS BE ENCOUNTERED, REPLACE THE BUMPERS ON BOTH DOORS WITH THE NEW DOWN STOP BUMPERS (PART NUMBER 4767527). INSTALL THE NEW BUMPER TO THE SASH CHANNEL USING A 10-24 X 1/2 MACHINE SCREW WITH A MATCHING LOCK WASHER AND NUT (FIGURE 1, SECTION A-A).
