ENGINE COLOR CHANGE FOR CHEVROLET PRODUCTION VEHICLES

All gasoline engines and the 6.2L diesel engine used in 1983 production Chevrolet vehicles will be painted black.

This change is part of the engine compartment clean-up program effective SOP 1983.

The Oldsmobile 4.3L and 5.7L diesel engines will retain the blue color for 1983 production.
