REVISED TCC/EGR ELEC.SCHEMATIC SERVICE MANUAL INFORMATION

THE ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAMS PROVIDED IN THE 1982-83 "WIRING DIAGRAMS MANUAL", AS WELL AS, THE "1983 CANADIAN PASSENGER CAR AND LIGHT DUTY TRUCK SERVICE MANUAL SUPPLEMENT" FOR F-CARS WITH 2.8L V6 (LC1) DO NOT SHOW AN EGR BLEED SOLENOID. THE SOLENOID IS ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLED, ENERGIZING WHEN THE TRANS- MISSION IS IN 3RD GEAR (EXCEPT WHEN BRAKING) TO REDUCE THE VACUUM SIGNAL AT THE EGR VALVE. (SEE ILLUSTRATION)
