COLD START INJECTOR 'O' RING REPLACEMENT

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-87 VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 2.8, 5.0 AND 5.7L ENGINES

Some 1985-87 vehicles may experience a condition where cold start injector o-ring(s) split or break when servicing the fuel rail assembly. Anew service o-ring package, P/N 17111954, is now available through GMSPO. This package contains the cold start valve o-ring seal (4), cold start body o-ring seal (3) and the cold start tube o-ring seal (5) as shown below in Figure 1.
