TORQUE CONVERTER LUGS NEW DESIGN/APPLICATION

Model and Year 1985 MODEL YEAR 20OC; 200-4R; 35OC; 700-R4

Starting in early March, 1985, all 245mm and 298mm torque converter assemblies used on the transmission models listed above will be built with a new design converter lug. (See Figure 1)

Additionally, all 298mm torque converter assemblies used with diesel engine applications will have only three converter lugs instead of the six lugs that are currently being used.

Torque converter assemblies, having the new design converter lugs, will be optional for Field Service Use.
