DOOR ARMRESTS P/N CHANGE FOR SERVICE AND PRODUCTION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1990 F-CAR

Due to a vendor change, 1990 F-car part numbers for door armrests have been changed for service and production. Should it become necessary to replace an armrest be sure to check VIN prior to ordering a new part.

All 1990 Chevrolet Camaros and Pontiac Firebirds built before the following vehicle identification numbers should use the following armrest:

Medium Dark Gray Interior Trim - VIN #1G1FP23T8LL111950 Armrest - 10077884 Right 10077865 Left

Black Interior Trim - VIN #1G1FP23E8LL114641 Armrest - 10077858 Right - 10077859 Left

Medium Beechwood Interior Trim - VIN #1G2FW2389LL209671 Armrest - 10077860 Right - 10077861 Left

Flame Red Interior Trim - VIN #1G1FP23T3LL115176 - 10125224 Right - 10125225 Left

Also, the bolt/screw in the snorkel of the armrest should be 10089498. The escutcheon required with this armrest on the Chevrolets only is 20231802 (Right) and 20231803 (Left). This armrest does require a plug.

Flame Red Interior Trim - VIN #1G1FP23T3LL115176 Armrest - 10159070 Right 10159071 Left

Also, the bolt/screw in the snorkel of the armrest should be 20310728. The escutcheon required with this armrest on the Chevrolets only is 1015908 (Right) and 10159087 (Left). This armrest does not require a plug.
