DOOR GLASS WONT STAY IN PLACE MANUAL REGULATORS ONLY-REPLACE

Subject: DOOR GLASS DOES NOT STAY IN PLACE

Model and Year: 1992 CAMARO

APPLICATION:

1992 "F" cars, with manual regulators only, within the following VIN breakpoints:

NL116619 to NL129679

CONDITION:

Some owners may comment about door glass that doesn't maintain a seal to the weatherstrip or drops down and causes windnoise.

CAUSE:

May be due to internal conditions in the regulator spindle and clutch mechanism.

CORRECTION:

If this condition is found, replace the regulator.

Parts are expected to be available on April 27, 1992. In case of limited inventory, parts will be placed on 400 control to waive VIP surcharges. Only verifiable emergency VIP orders will be accepted. SPO will make every effort to obtain parts. However, the part will be shipped premium transportation at dealer's expense and all other order types will be placed on backorder until the 400 control is removed.

IMPORTANT: Do not adjust door glass only to correct this condition. Attempts to adjust door glass will not correct this condition.
