4N12 APRIL 1994 1993 CHEV F CAR 1993 PONT F CAR
GENERAL MOTORS OF CANADA LIMITED HAS DETERMINED THAT CERTAIN 1993 CHEVROLET CAMAROS AND PONTIAC FIREBIRDS HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED WITH PARK/TURN SIGNAL LAMP BULBS THAT MAY NOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE BULB LIFE. THIS IS DUE TO THE HIGH OUTPUT BULB TRAPPING HEAT AND EVENTUALL CAUSING LAMP BULB LEAKAGE.
TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION, DEALERS ARE TO REPLACE THE CURRENT LAMP SOCKET ASSEMBLIES WITH IMPROVED LAMP SOCKET ASSEMBLIES. FOR CHEVROLET CAMARO VEHICLES, THE LAMP LENSES WILL ALSO BE REPLACED.
INVOLVED ARE CERTAIN 1993 CHEVROLET CAMAROS AND PONTIAC FIREBIRDS BUILT WITHIN THE FOLLOWING VIN BREAKPOINTS:
