SUBJECT: SERVICE MANUAL UPDATE-SECTION 6A8-REVISED OIL PAN SERVICE PROCEDURE

MODELS: 1995 BUICK PARK AVENUE, RIVIERA 1995 CHEVROLET CAMARO 1995 OLDSMOBILE EIGHTY EIGHT, NINETY EIGHT 1995 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE, FIREBIRD WITH 3800 ENGINE (VIN K - RPO L36)

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION MUST BE FOLLOWED TO PREVENT DAMAGING THE OIL LEVEL SENSOR DURING REMOVAL OF THE OIL PAN AND BAFFLE.

NOTICE: THE OIL LEVEL SENSOR (LOCATED IN THE OIL PAN), MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE THE OIL PAN. IF THE OIL PAN AND BAFFLE ARE REMOVED FIRST, DAMAGE TO THE SENSOR MAY OCCUR WHEN THE BAFFLE CONTACTS THE SENSOR.

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION MUST BE FOLLOWED TO PREVENT DAMAGING THE OIL LEVEL SENSOR DURING INSTALLATION OF THE OIL PAN AND BAFFLE.

NOTICE: THE OIL LEVEL SENSOR (LOCATED IN THE OIL PAN), MUST BE INSTALLED AFTER THE OIL PAN AND BAFFLE. IF THE OIL LEVEL SENSOR IS INSTALLED FIRST, DAMAGE TO THE SENSOR MAY OCCUR WHEN THE BAFFLE CONTACTS THE SENSOR.
