Caution: If a fan blade is bent or damaged in any way, do not repair or reuse the damaged part. Always replace a bent or damaged fan blade. Fan blades that have been damaged can not be assured of proper balance and could fail and fly apart during subsequent use. This creates an extremely dangerous situation.

Dual electric engine coolant fans help air flow through the radiator. These fans attach to the radiator.

Motors, attached to the fan shroud, drive the engine coolant fan blades. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controlled fan relays activate the fan motors. If the vehicle has air conditioning, the fan motors also operate when the compressor is operating.

The fan blades aid in air flow through the radiator and the air conditioning condenser.
