Exhaust Manifold Removal Left Side

1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor electrical connector from the wire support bracket.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield nuts.
3. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Important: When you remove the EGR tube from the left exhaust manifold, inspect the outlet pipe for leaks during installation. Replace the EGR adapter if the pipe leaks.




4. Remove the EGR outlet pipe from the exhaust manifold.



5. Remove the exhaust manifold studs.
6. Remove the exhaust manifold.

Exhaust Manifold Removal Right Side

1. Remove the heated oxygen sensor electrical connector from the lift bracket.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield nuts and shields.



3. Remove the exhaust manifold studs and bolts.
4. Remove the exhaust manifold.
