Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 39098 Size: SH
  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to SECTIONS 7A or 7B.
  2. Remove the engine flywheel bolts.
  3. Remove the engine flywheel.
    4. • Inspect the engine flywheel for missing or loose converter to flywheel bolts. Tighten or replace as necessary.
    • Inspect the converter for damage, or missing balance weights. If the converter is damaged or the weights are missing, replace the converter. Refer to SECTION 7A.
    • If the engine flywheel is replaced, balance weights of the same size and weight must be installed.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 39098 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine flywheel.
  2. Install the engine flywheel bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the engine flywheel bolts to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

  3. Install the transmission. Refer to SECTIONS 7A or 7B.
