Cooling System Diagnosis for Chevrolet Camaro 1997

1. If overheating occurs due to prolonged idling in gear, instruct the operator on driving techniques which would reduce the possibility of engine overheating:

•	Idle in neutral as much as possible and raise engine RPM using accelerator pedal.

•	Turn air conditioning off during extended idling.

2. If none of the above conditions apply, refer to Cold Engine, Slow Warm-Up, Not Enough Heat Cold Engine, Slow Warm-Up, Not Enough Heat .
