In order to ensure good fuel economy and compliance with federal fuel
economy standards, 2nd and 3rd gears are inhibited when shifting out of
1st gear under the following conditions:
| • | Coolant temperature is above 77°C (161°F). |
| • | Throttle is opened 35 percent or less. |
| • | Vehicle speed is 24-34 km/h (15-21 mph). |
| • | Reset at less than 2 km/h (1 mph). |
