  1. Turn the ignition ON and the engine OFF.
  2. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature gauge sensor connector.
  3. Connect a jumper between terminal A of the connector and ground.

Does the coolant temperature gauge move all the way to the right (hot)?

Inspect the engine coolant temperature gauge sensor connector for a poor connection.

Replace the engine coolant temperature gauge sensor connector.

Inspect CKT 135 for a poor connection or an open.
