Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors Lower

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 11689  Size: SH
  1. Remove the lower radiator air deflector screws (3).
  2. Remove the lower radiator air baffle retainers (4).
  3. Remove the lower radiator air lower baffle (1).
  4. Inspect for any component damage.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 11689  Size: SH
  1. Install the lower radiator air baffle (1).
  2. Install the lower radiator air baffle retainers (4).
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the lower radiator air deflector screws (3).
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

Radiator Air Baffle Assemblies and Deflectors Upper

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 11690  Size: SH
  1. Remove the upper radiator air baffle from the retainers (3).
  2. Remove the upper radiator air baffle (1) from the radiator (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 11690  Size: SH
  1. Install the upper radiator air baffle (1) to the radiator (2).
  2. Install the upper radiator air baffle to the retainers (3).
