BEGINNING LATE OCTOBER, 1981, ALL 1982 THM 200-4R "CR" TRANSMISSIONS WERE BUILT USING A REVISED ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE FOR THE 3-4 ACCUMULATOR SPRING AND PISTON. THE NEW ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE WILL HAVE THE 3-4 ACCUMULATOR PISTON INSTALLED INTO THE CASE FIRST AND THEN THE 3-4 ACCUMULATOR SPRING. SEE FIGURE 1. THE NEW ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE WILL ELIMINATE A ROUGH 3-4 SHIFT FEEL AND MUST BE USED FOR ALL 1982 THM 200-4R "CR" TRANSMISSIONS.
