Condition:

---------- The BOSE radio system may not have sufficient sound quality on the 1991 B model with BOSE radio (RPO UQ4). The equalization may be inadequate and the bass response may be limited.

Cause:

------ The original amplifier (P/N 16149121) had limited bass response and equalization. A new amplifier assembly design was used after VIN MW145367.

Correction:

----------- Replace the amplifier assembly, located in the package shelf near the speakers, with P/N 16155131. Follow the directions in the Service Manual.

Part is currently available from GMSPO.
