ORDERING HORN SWITCH FOR (SIR) INFORMATION ON PART NUMBERS

Subject: HORN SWITCH ORDERING

Model and Year: 1991-92 CAPRICE

Recent analysis of returned parts has shown that SIR (Supplemental inflatable Restraint) modules are being replaced because the horn switch is inoperative.

The horn switch is available in group 2.819, P/N 17990636. The SIR module, which includes the air bag and horn switch, is released in group 14.865.
