TAIL LAMP MOLDING LOOSE (REPLACE MOLDING ASSEMBLY)

Subject: TAIL LAMP MOLDING LOOSE

Model and Year: 1991-92 CAPRICE

Condition: Tail lamp molding loose.

Cause: Light corrosion of the retaining clips allows the molding to come loose.

Correction: Install new molding assembly, P/N 16520255. See attached illustration.

1. Pry molding assembly rearward at the outboard end and remove.

2. Install new molding assembly.

Part Availability:

Parts are expected to be available on April 27, 1992. In case of limited inventory, parts will be placed on 400 control to waive VIP surcharges. Only verifiable emergency VIP orders will be accepted. SPO will make every effort to obtain parts. However, the part will be shipped premium transportation at dealer's expense and all other order types will be placed on backorder until the 400 control is removed.
