---------- Transmission fluid leaks at the vehicle speed sensor.
------- The leak may be at the sensor seal to the transmission or at the electrical connector to the sensor.
----------- A new series of transmission speed sensors with improved anti-leak characteristics should be used to correct the condition.

- Raise and suitably support vehicle. Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION (SEC. 0A).
1. Speedometer wire connector from transmission (4).
2. Retainer bolt (5).
3. Speed sensor-driven gear assembly (1, 2, and 3) from case extension.
4. Driven gear from speed sensor (2).
() Install or Connect
1. New driven Gear on speed sensor (2).
2. Speed sensor driven gear assembly into case extension (1, 2, and 3).
3. Retainer bolt (5).
4. Speedometer wire connector (4).
