Change in camber specification from 0.8 +/-0.8 degrees to 0.0 +/-0.8 degrees and correction for individual toe setting from 0.8 +/-0.l degrees to 0.08 +/0.l degrees. VEHICLES are not to be realigned because of this change only. If an alignment is required due to a customer comment, then use the following specifications:
Operation Specification in Degrees --------- ------------------------ Front Caster 3.5 +/1.0 Cross Caster 1.0 Max
Camber 0.0 +/-0.8 Cross Camber 1.0 Max
Individual Toe-In 0.08 +/-0.l Total Toe-In 0.16 +/-0.2
Steering Wheel Angle Level +/-2.5
Rear Thrust Angle 0.0 +/-0.15
Please note these changes in your copies of the 1991-92 B-car Service Manual on Page 3A-6 for all divisions involved.
General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
