Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 1996 🢒 Caprice 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 4.3L (Caprice Only) and 5.7L 🢒 Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the appearance cover.

    2. Object Number: 13485 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector (3).
  3. Remove the Hold down bolts (1).
  4. Remove the MAP sensor (2) from the intake manifold (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 13485 Size: SH
  1. Install the New MAP sensor seal (5), lightly coated with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the MAP sensor (2) to the intake manifold (4).
  3. Install the Hold down bolts (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the MAP sensor bolts to 6 N·m (50 lb In)

  4. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector (3).
  5. Install the Appearance cover.
