The spark plug wire harnesses use carbon impregnated cord conductors, encased in 7 mm diameter silicone jackets. The silicone jackets withstand very high temperatures and also provide excellent insulation for the high voltage of the system. Silicone spark plug boots form a tight seal to the spark plugs.
