Hangers Exhaust Tail Pipe Front

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to General Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information.

  2. Object Number: 73084  Size: SH
  3. Remove the exhaust tail pipe front hanger bracket bolts.
  4. Remove the hanger bracket, with the insulators, from the rear crossmember.
  5. Remove the insulators from the muffler rods.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 73084  Size: SH
  1. Install the insulators onto the bracket by inserting the bracket rods through the insulator's upper holes.
  2. Install the insulator, with the bracket, onto the muffler rods.
  3. Install the bracket onto the rear crossmember.
  4. Install the bolts.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft ).

  6. Lower the vehicle.

Hangers Exhaust Resonator Rear

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to General Vehicle Lifting and Jacking in General Information.

  2. Object Number: 72947  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts.
  4. Remove the hanger bracket, with the insulators, from the rear frame rail.
  5. Remove the insulators from the resonator rods and the bracket rods.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 72947  Size: SH
  1. Install the insulators onto the bracket, by inserting the bracket rods through the upper insulator holes.
  2. Install the insulator and the bracket, onto the resonator, by inserting the resonator rods through the lower insulator holes.
  3. Install the bracket onto the rear frame rail.
  4. Install the bolts.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
