Condition
Some customers may comment on a rear brake squeal. This squeal is usually more obvious in reverse during the first cold application of the brakes.
Cause
Natural resonant frequency of the rotor aligns with the natural resonant frequency of the caliper anchor bracket, which produces a squeal noise.
Correction
After verifying that the customer's vehicle has the condition described above, install a new revised set of rear brake pads, P/N 92203666.
DO NOT install exiting pads, P/N 92193454, machine discs or perform any other modifications in an attempt to correct this condition.
