Instrument Panel Compartment Door Lock Cylinder Replacement RHD

Important: The instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder (1) must be in the unlocked position to allow removal from the instrument panel compartment door latch release handle (2).

1. Remove the instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side.
2. Remove the instrument panel outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement.
3. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
4. Remove the instrument panel compartment door latch release handle. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Latch Release Handle Replacement.
5. Remove the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder latch retainer.
6. Carefully remove the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder (1) from the instrument panel compartment door latch release handle (2).

Important: The instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder (1) must be in the unlocked position to allow installation and correct alignment within the instrument panel compartment door latch release handle (2).

1. Carefully install the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder (1) into the instrument panel compartment door latch release handle (2).
2. Install the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder latch retainer.
3. Install the instrument panel compartment door latch release handle. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Latch Release Handle Replacement.
4. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
5. Install the instrument panel outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement.
6. Install the instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side.
