Engine Block Valley Cover Cleaning and Inspection for Chevrolet Caprice WM 2008

  1. Clean the valley cover in solvent.

    2. Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Dry with compressed air.
  3. Inspect for restrictions within the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) passages.
  4. Ensure the valley cover sealing surfaces are free of burrs and traces of old sealant.
