For 1990-2009 cars only
- Inspect the transmission vent assembly for damage or being plugged. If the vent is damaged the torque converter housing (227) must be replaced.
- Remove the pressure test plug (40).
- Remove the fluid level hole plug (36) and fluid level hole plug o-ring seal (37) from the case (604).
