Service Information Migation to SI

The purpose of this bulletin is to advise that all service information for the above models is now available on world wide web based SI system.

Effective immediately, there will be no further distribution of DVD copies of service information. All future updates of Service Information for the above models will be provided through SI.

To access, select Model Year, Chevrolet , and either Lumina VE or Caprice WM (refer to the graphic below). Do not select Caprice Export or Lumina Export.

CSV models are included in Lumina VE, and where data is specific to the CSV model, this may be shown either separately, or together with VXR8 or HSV models which are equivalent models marketed in other territories.

Service Bulletins will also be loaded to SI to provide a file of previously published bulletins for model years 2007 and later, in addition to regular distribution.

Please take the following action in respect of existing Service Information CDs and DVDs.

1. SIP CD, Model Years 1999 through 2006. Information relating to these model years has not been migrated to SI. It will be necessary to retain SIP CDs for model years 1999 through 2006.

2. SI DVD for model year 2007 and later. Information has been migrated together with updates into the SI system. DVDs will therefore contain obsolete data and should not be used.
