Theft Deterrent Alarm Replacement RHD

1. Open the Hood.



2. Disconnect the electrical connectors  (1) from the theft deterrent horn assembly.
3. Remove the theft deterrent horn assembly to vehicle body retaining bolt (2).
4. Pull the theft deterrent horn assembly  (3) upward in order to remove it from the vehicle.

1. Align the theft deterrent horn assembly in original position. Be sure to align "tang" (1) in the correct position.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the theft deterrent horn to vehicle body retaining bolt (2).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 8 N·m (6 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connectors (3) to the theft deterrent horn assembly.
4. Close the hood.

Theft Deterrent Alarm Replacement SWBLHD

1. Open the Hood.



2. Disconnect the electrical connectors  (3) from the theft deterrent horn assembly.
3. Remove the theft deterrent horn assembly to vehicle body retaining bolt (1).
4. Pull the theft deterrent horn assembly  (2) upward in order to remove it from the vehicle.

1. Align the theft deterrent horn assembly in original position. Be sure to align locating tang (2) in the correct position.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the theft deterrent horn to vehicle body retaining bolt (1)).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 8 N·m (6 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connectors (3) to the theft deterrent horn assembly.
4. Close the hood.
