Stationary Window Description LWB

The windshield assembly is manufactured from laminated glass and has a tinted upper band. Toughened safety glass is used for all other windows. The windshield and rear window are retained to the body with urethane adhesive which adheres the windshield and rear window to the body, increasing structural integrity. The reinstallation of the windshield and rear window with urethane adhesive requires complete replacement of the urethane adhesive bead. The quarter window assembly is attached to the vehicle using micro-encapsulated nuts.

The reinstallation of the windshield and liftgate window with urethane adhesive requires complete replacement of the urethane adhesive bead. The windshield and liftgate window are positioned on the body with datum pins that are integral to the windshield and liftgate window. The body side stationary window assembly is attached to the vehicle using nuts.
