Backup Lamp Bulb Replacement CSV SWBHSV VXR8

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
2. Remove the tail lamp assembly. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement.




Important: Remove the backup lamp bulb socket  (1) by rotating counter-clockwise.

3. Remove the backup lamp bulb socket (1) from the tail lamp assembly.
4. Remove the backup lamp bulb from the backup lamp bulb socket by pushing and rotating counter-clockwise.

1. Install the backup lamp bulb into the backup lamp bulb socket by pushing and rotating clockwise.

Important: The different-sized tabs on the bulb socket and mating cut-outs in the tail lamp assembly allow the bulb to seat correctly.

2. Install the backup lamp bulb socket (1) into the tail lamp assembly by rotating clockwise.
3. Install the tail lamp assembly. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement.
4. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
