Repeater Lamp Bulb Replacement LWB SWB

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.



2. Remove side indicator lamp assembly from the fender by grasping the assembly and pushing the assembly forward to disengage the rear clip from the fender.
3. Tilt the rear of the side indicator lamp assembly out and remove the assembly from the front fender.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb socket, by depressing the connector clip and pulling connector from bulb socket.
5. Disconnect the bulb socket from the side indicator lamp assembly by rotating the socket counterclockwise.
6. Remove the side indicator bulb from the bulb socket.

1. Install a new side indicator bulb to the bulb socket.
2. Connect electrical connector to the bulb socket, note orientation of the electrical connector.

Important: The tabs on the bulb base and mating cut-outs in the lamp assembly allow the bulb to seat correctly in the lamp.

3. Install the bulb socket into the side indicator lamp assembly and rotate the socket clockwise to secure the bulb and socket.
4. Install rear portion of the side indicator lamp assembly into the fender and then push the front of the lamp assembly inwards to engage the front clip.

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

5. Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
6. Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the fender vent. Refer to Front Fender Center Molding Replacement



3. Remove the side indicator bulb socket (1) from the side indicator lamp (2) in an anti-clockwise direction.
4. Remove the side indicator bulb from the side indicator bulb socket (1).

1. Install the side indicator bulb into the side indicator bulb socket.



2. Install the side indicator bulb socket (1) into the side indicator lamp (2) in a clockwise motion, until an audible "click" is heard.
3. Install the fender vent. Refer to Front Fender Center Molding Replacement
4. Connect the battery ground negative. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
