Removal Procedure

    Important: When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

  1. Install a suitable liftgate brace to the vehicle.
  2. Remove the liftgate upper moulding. Refer to Liftgate Upper Molding Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 2121488 Size: SH

    Important: Take care not to pierce the washer hose.

  3. Release the liftgate window washer nozzle (1) from the liftgate upper moulding (2).
  4. Cut the cable tie on grommet (3), and slide washer hose (4) through grommet.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2121488 Size: SH
  1. Engage the liftgate window washer nozzle (1) to the liftgate upper moulding (2).
  2. Pass washer hose (4) through grommet (3) and attach new cable tie to grommet (3)
  3. Install the liftgate upper moulding. Refer to Liftgate Upper Molding Replacement.
  4. Test the liftgate window washer nozzle for correct operation.

    5. Important: When a suitable hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

  5. Remove the suitable liftgate brace from the vehicle.
