Removal Procedure
  1. Open the liftgate.

    2. Object Number: 2048985 Size: SH
  2. Remove the liftgate wedge to liftgate torx retaining bolt (1).
  3. Remove the liftgate wedge (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2048985 Size: SH
  1. Position the liftgate wedge (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Close the liftgate.
  3. Open the liftgate.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the liftgate wedge to liftgate torx retaining bolt (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Close the liftgate.
